Public Sector Digitalization Seminar Successfully Held

According to the statement by the Prime Ministry Digital Transformation and Electronic Government Agency, the "Public Sector Digitalization" seminar was successfully held at the Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus. Associate Professor Dr. Tuğberk Kaya participated as a speaker on behalf of the institution.

During the seminar, topics such as digital transformation strategies, electronic government applications, e-participation, and citizen-oriented digital services were discussed. Dr. Kaya shared comprehensive information on the development of digital public services in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, strengthening e-government infrastructure, and the importance of active citizen participation in digital processes.

According to the statements made by the agency staff during the seminar, it was emphasized that e-payment applications were successfully implemented in 16 out of 18 municipalities.

Dr. Kaya highlighted the importance of citizen-focused digital service approaches, while agency officials stated that digital transformation efforts in the public sector continue and such events play a crucial role in knowledge sharing and raising awareness.
